At the Gran Oca Maragogi Resort, you will enjoy the waters of the Sea of Maragogi. The sea of Maragogi, which has an average temperature between in January and February, is undoubtedly the best place to spend your vacation. Ponta de Mangue Beach has crystal clear waters, surrounded by coconut trees, and at low tide, you can see small reefs and colorful fish.
Round-trip flight: We provide a shuttle ride from the airport to the hotel upon arrival, as well as a shuttle from the hotel to the airport on your departure day.
DAILY ACTIVITIES:
DAY 1
You will arrive at the airport, be greeted by the CVC team, and take a shuttle ride to the hotel.
DAY 2 – Regional Tour or Sightseeing Manguaba River
Both tours last approximately 3 hours. For the regional tour, we will be visiting the craft center of Maragogi and the Marrecas Farm, which is a candy factory in São Bento. For the Manguaba tour, we will be walking through the paradisiacal Japaratinga and Barreiras do Boqueirão beaches. We will go for a boat ride on the Manguaba River and tour the Manatee Sanctuary.
DAY 3 – Spending your day at Croa Island and Sonho Verde Beaches
This is an all-day tour to the most beautiful areas in the state of Alagoas. This tour is noted for its tranquility and beauty. We will board a boat in Santo Antônio and head towards Croa Island, where we will have an off-road tour by car along the beaches to the cliffs of Morros de Camaragibe and Carro Quebrado Beach. The tour continues to Sonho Verde Beach, a paradise of its own, where we will enjoy a delightful swim in the sea. The tour takes place 56 miles away from Maragogi.
DAY 4 – Trip to Porto de Galinhas
This is also an all-day tour. We will travel 56 miles from Pernambuco to Porto de Galinhas, a cozy beach surrounded by huge coconut trees. It is considered the largest tourist hub of the state. This is a perfect setting for those who want to admire landscapes and appreciate the regional cuisine. We will be able to shop for crafts and also take a ride on a raft to the natural pools (depending on the tide).
DAY 5 – Tour through the main sights of Maceio
To begin this all-day tour, we will take a shuttle ride to Maceio (76 miles away), where you will visit Jatiuca and Ponta Verde Beaches. During the driving tour, we will pass through Jaragua the oldest district of the city, to get to downtown Maceio. Here we will visit important sights, such as Nossa Senhora dos Prazeres Cathedral, the Government Palace, lookout, and Pontal da Barra. We will appreciate the local artisan lace makers, who are famous in this region. We will stop at Pajucara Beach for lunch, with a tour on a catamaran along Orla Urbana de Mcz
DAY 6 – Tour in Recife and Olinda
This is an all-day tour. We will travel to the state capital of Pernambuco (74 miles away), known as the Brazilian Venice. Here we will visit Boa Viagem Beach and the nearby old town, with its colonial mansions and bridges over Capibaribe and Beberibe rivers. We will stop at the House of Culture, a former prison turned into a public center of leisure crafts. The tour continues through the historic city of Olinda, the Brazilian capital of culture, which reflects the historical and cultural heritage of humanity.
DAY 7 – Spending your day on Carneiros and Tamandare beaches.
This is an all-day tour located in the municipality of Rio Formoso, 28 miles from Maragogi. We will find an entrancing tropical landscape, ideal for water sports and hiking.
DAY 8 At a specific time, we will take you to the airport for your return flight home.
